The LOVE LA Show

HOLLYWOOD, CA, January 24, 2008 - The LOVE LA Show, a brand new approach to the promotion of sensual products, sexual education and relationship improvement is set to take place on January 27, 2008। LOVE LA's objective is to provide couples and singles with seminars and products to enhance their love lives in a comfortable and entertaining environment। LOVE LA marks the first event of its kind, as pornography will not be seen nor allowed within the venue। It will feature 30 handpicked local vendors in a romantic setting without the traditional impersonal booth setups, harsh lighting or male dominated crowd। "We want vendors to share their favorite products, rather than hard-sell wares," said event creator Ian Denchasy, whose idea for a couples-oriented event was recently featured in L।A। Weekly। "The booth cost is low, [and] admission is low। We want visitors to explore their options with adult products, services, and lingerie in a sexy, pressure-free atmosphere।"The event's main differentiation from other adult oriented trade shows is due to the fact that pornography will be absent and education will be present। The event will feature multiple seminars hosted by well-known sex experts such as Midori and Patti Britton। "It's about time that the industry recognizes a need for a high-end event that speaks to women and couples," said Kristen Tribby, Education/Marketing Coordinator for Babeland, who will both vend at the event and help organize and staff the many seminars. "Love L.A. is an exciting alternative to the typical sex expo. It provides a space for folks to explore their sexuality in a non-sleazy, inclusive environment."LOVE LA organizers expect between 3,000 and 5,000 attendees during the one-day show. LOVE LA staff will also be on hand to demystify sexual taboos and celebrate this favorite activity with the provocative and shy alike.Guests will be entertained with three fashion shows throughout the day, as well as an incredible performance by the Sassy Minxx dance group. The expo was scheduled to coincide with couples' preparation for Valentine's Day and the second release of L.A. Weekly's Sexy Little Black Book. "The pieces are in place for one of the most revolutionary events in sexual history," Denchasy wrote about Love L.A. in a recent L.A. Weekly column. "I think a fresh alternative is needed that appeals to sexuality in a positive way. Love L.A. is it."About LOVE LAThe Love LA show is an event for anyone and everyone interested in expanding their sexual horizons, in a fun, dignified environment without pornography or degrading subject matter present. LOVE LA will provide the finest products, retail outlets, seminars, and performances ever assembled in one location. The event is on January 27th, 2008 at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood, California. The Search for Sensuality

There is no firm agreement among neurologists as to the number of senses because of differing definitions of what constitutes a sense. One definition states that a sense is a faculty by which outside stimuli are perceived.[1] The conventional five senses are sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste: a classification traditionally attributed to Aristotle.[2] However, humans have at least nine different senses, and there are at least two other senses in other organisms.

A broadly acceptable definition of a sense would be "a system that consists of a group sensory cell types that responds to a specific physical phenomenon, and that corresponds to a particular group of regions within the brain where the signals are received and interpreted." Disputes about the number of senses arise typically regarding the classification of the various cell types and their mapping to regions of the brain.
